One of SA’s large insurer’s has a vacancy for an Actuarial Specialist to be a part of this high performing team. The successful candidate will provide actuarial and business support to the life insurance businesses in the portfolio. This will involve working closely with senior management and with the actuarial functions of the businesses. The responsibilities will include valuations and reporting, experience monitoring, actuarial risk control, working with the department’s capital and product functions on capital and product management and collaboration with in-country management and actuarial teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Newly or Nearly Qualified actuary
- Minimum of 4 years Actuarial Valuation’s experience.
- Experience in a life insurance actuarial reporting environment including IFRS, EV, VNB and SAM bases
